Environment Strategy:
Our overall aim is to "consume less of the world's resources, recycle more and dispose of what remains sensitively".
Key environment issues:
To achieve our environment strategy we are focusing on our significant environment impacts - the energy we use, the paper we consume, the waste we produce and the business travel we undertake.
We will fulfill our environment strategy by a commitment to:
- Being a leader on environmental management in the financial services industry;
- Complying with all relevant environmental legislation;
- Continuously improving our environmental performance;
- Monitoring, measuring and reporting our progress and performance; and
- Actively engaging with our people and other stakeholders on environmental matters.
Targets and Indicators:
We have a series of targets that detail the direction we want our performance to move towards and a series of Key Performance Indicators that help us monitor if we are on target to achieve our goals.
