Standard Life Appoints New Vice-President In Its Group Insurance Division
Montral, October 21, 2005 - Mr. Jean Guay, Senior Vice-President, Group Insurance, is pleased to announce the appointment of Suzanne Caron to the position of Vice-President, Underwriting, Systems and Quality Controls, Group Insurance.
In this role, Ms. Caron will be responsible for the pricing of group insurance products and services. She will provide technical guidance to management in establishing profit objectives, and for system development and support. Ms. Caron will also manage all underwriting functions for Standard Life's group insurance business
Ms. Caron graduated from the Universit Laval in actuarial science and is a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. Throughout her career, she has held senior management positions in major insurance companies and has also been a consultant in an actuarial consulting firm.
