Inter-Aide - Employee and Family Assistance Program

It's not always easy to tell when someone is having a hard time. Nor is it necessarily easy to reach out for help. Our Inter-Aide and Expert-Aide Assistance Programs offer employees and managers the tools and support needed to take on the most difficult challenges.

With Inter-Aide, employees and the eligible members of their immediate family have access to confidential counselling, information and coaching to help them face life's many situations.

What is Inter-Aide?

Inter-Aide is our Employee and Family Assistance Program. It is a voluntary, confidential, short-term counselling and support service.

Who can benefit from this program?

Inter-Aide is available to employees and their immediate family members regardless of whether they are covered as dependents under the group insurance plan. Services are also available to family members for up to 3 months following the death of the insured employee.

What does it offer?

Help is available at any time by phone, online or in person. Employees and their families can call on Inter-Aide for:

A simple phone call connects employees and their families to a network of specialists, including professional counsellors, psychologists and social workers. Inter-Aide counsellors are experienced and trained to help with:
