When a client chooses Standard Life as their long-term disability provider, our first step is to assign a single point of contact to this new client. The dedicated analyst will handle each employee’s claim from beginning to end. Their role is to work with the employer, the employee and the medical experts to ensure a successful return to work.

One claim form – an easy transition from short- to long-term disability

Our single claim form simplifies and accelerates the claim process. This form gathers all pertinent information needed in the evaluation of both short- and long-term claims. This facilitates the administration of a claim and avoids any delays in the payment or termination of claims.

And to make things easier

Our Disability Case Management system allows us to coordinate all activities associated with the management of a claim and gives us immediate access to complete and up-to-date files at any given moment.

Our VIP Room gives both employers and employees access to useful information, such as the status of disability claims, the benefit amount and the date on which the payment was issued.
