2011

I.F.C.A. Awards

Standard Life's excellence has been recognized by the I.F.C.A. (Insurance and Financial Communicators Association) in the form of various awards, including two Honourable Mentions for Group Life & Health. The first of these awards was for the print ad campaign for ConsultAction, expert advice and consulting services designed to assist employers with absence management, while the second was for a comprehensive guide for businesses presenting the implementation process for new group insurance plans as a roadmap.

Standard Life's excellence has been recognized by the I.F.C.A. (Insurance and Financial Communicators Association) in the form of various awards, including one Honorable Mention in the Small Business Materials' category for the Group Life & Health brochure Your guide to Small business solutions from Standard Life.

I.F.C.A. Awards

Standard Life's redesign of its virtual Health & Wellness Centre has proven to be a great success. Each year, the Insurance and Financial Communicators Association (I.F.C.A.) recognizes excellence in communications in the insurance and financial services industry. This year, Standard Life's Health & Wellness Centre was granted an Award of Excellence in the Web site category for its originality, innovative design and quality writing.

2011

OCTAS competition

The new Plan for life statement for members of Standard Life group savings and retirement plans was selected as a finalist for the Business solutions – Internal development category in the 2011 OCTAS competition, which rewards individuals, companies or organizations for their creativity, vitality and exceptional contribution to the growth of the Information Technology industry.

Hermes Creative Awards

Standard Life received a Platinum Award from the Hermes Creative Awards in the Integrated Marketing Campaign category. The award marked the excellence of the "To make a long story short" campaign, which was created to support the launch of the new Plan for lifestatement for members of Standard Life group savings and retirement plans. Hermes Creative Awards is an international competition for creative professionals involved in the concept, writing and design of traditional materials and programs, and emerging technologies. It is administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals.

IAC Awards 2011

"To make a long story short" – the campaign that supported the launch of Standard Life's revamped group retirement plan statement – received recognition for "Outstanding Integrated Ad Campaign" by the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC). Joseph Iannicelli recognized as one of the top 25 leaders of the financial services industry in Quebec

For the third year in a row, Joseph Iannicelli, President and Chief Executive Officer of The Standard Life Assurance Company of Canada, is among the five most influential financial leaders, according to Finance et Investissement's feature of Quebec's Top 25 leaders in the financial services industry.

DALBAR, the world's premier financial services strategy and operations research firm, has awarded the new
Plan for lifeTM member statement its Communications Seal for excellence in content, design and usability.

I.F.C.A. Awards

Standard Life's excellence has been recognized by the I.F.C.A. (Insurance and Financial Communicators Association) in the form of various awards, including two for GS&R. The first of these awards was for the welcome kit, which provides customized information to members, while the second was for the Summary of Pension Legislation brochure.

With profit rising and representing an impressive increase, Standard Life Assurance Company has ranked number 1 Profit Gainer amongst the highly-respected "FP500" ranking from the Financial Post Magazine. Launched to maximize group savings and retirement visibility in the brokerage community, the One key, countless possibilities campaign has been recognized with an award by the Internet Advertising Competition (IAC) in the "Integrated advertising campaign" category. In 2008, when Standard Life launched its cutting-edge site known as the VIP Room as part of its Plan for life program, Benefits Canada picked the site for top honours in the Plan Member Communications category.
