Anthony Cardone Senior Vice-President Corporate Strategy and Development

Anthony Cardone has been recently appointed as Senior Vice-President, Corporate Strategy and Development. His main responsibilities are to coordinate the development of Standard Life strategic business plan in Canada, explore new business growth opportunities and identify innovative leading-edge propositions for Canadian consumers. He also oversees the building of the Company's brand image and value proposition and represents the Canadian operations in many global strategic initiatives of the group Standard Life plc.

Mr. Cardone joined Standard Life in 2000 and held various executive positions most recently as Senior Vice-President, Group Savings and Retirement. He also held the positions of Senior Vice-President, Marketing, Standard Life Mutual Funds, and Vice-President, Marketing and Sales Development, Retail Markets. Prior to joining Standard Life, Mr. Cardone held several executive positions in the consumer banking and wealth management sectors. He has over 20 years experience in the financial services sector and has been a member of the executive team since 2005.

Anthony is a graduate of Concordia University in Commerce with a Major in Marketing.
